Day T-Plus 28: May 10.

The outer walls are up on the first floor. Ozma looks south, where the deck will be.

Looking west—Conrad's office is framed in in the back of the picture. This picture is slightly to the right of the above picture; match the pile of studs.
From the southeast corner. The trusses are bundled in front.
From the southwest corner.
From the northeast corner—the big hole in the wall is the "front" door.
Looking east; picture taken from Conrad's office.
Looking south at the dining room.
The northeast corner of the basement, plus dog butt.
Day T-Plus 29: May 11

Most of the first floor interior walls are up, and the second floor joists are up. Wayne is leaning against a new load of lumber, which includes the second floor subfloor.

Day T-Plus 30: May 12

Looking at the north side.
Jeremy Yoder hands a 2x4 to his father Dave. They are really moving this along!

From the southwest.
Day T-Plus 31: May 13

The roof is on. Looking at the north side.

Looking at the east side.
From the south/southeast. Those three posts for the deck were no small chore to get in. It was a family affair with Wayne, Linda, Margaret & Conrad participating.
From the southwest corner.
Day T-Plus 37: May 19

The shingles are on and the windows and most of the doors are in. All before any substantive rain, too.
Looking from the east.

Looking from the south side. The desk joists are in place.
The north side.
Day T-Plus 62: June 13

The basement floor will be poured tomorrow. Styrofoam and plastic sheeting will be underneath the concrete for insulation. The basement plumbing is in place.
There has not been much visible progress since the last pictures, mostly due to Wayne & Conrad's trip to Europe. Things are moving along though, now.

Plastic sheeting and styrofoam in the northeast corner of the basement, with the root cellar in the back.
Day T-Plus 64: June 15

It's one day after the basement and front porch have been poured. The root cellar is directly under the porch.

Looking at the northwest corner of the basement from the basement door.
The contractors put this silicone/polyurethane coating on the concrete as it was still wet, to make it easier to maintain. It is hard, even though it still looks wet.
